Y’all! Can I just tell you how much I adore a good jumpsuit!
They’re seriously one of my most favorite pieces of clothing!
I am always hesitant about ordering them online though because I am 5’2, 110lbs and have a very short torso. So, they can be hit or miss… I’m sure with everyone. Their a item that’s best tried on. So, as I was browsing through one of my favorite retailers, Free People, I saw this one on MAJOR SALE. I added it to my cart weeks ago. I let it just sit there. I was super hesitant because Free People tends to run bigger and sometimes their XS can even swallow me. So, I let it sit there. Until…
I pulled up their app a few weeks ago (you should totally download it) and the jumpsuit was still in my cart but, this time the sale price was even further discounted! So, I snagged it! And maybe a few other items! Free People is my jam y’all! It’s probably my most worn and most favorite brand when it comes to clothing. I love that they have great basics, edgy and unique finds, plus great quality pieces. Every FP item I have purchased I keep for a long time! The quality upholds to the price, or it has always with me!
Another thing I love about shopping with this brand is, their return policy. It’s super easy to send something back and get a refund if the item you order doesn’t work. So, when this jumpsuit went on sale for around $50 I thought, “I can send it back if it doesn’t work” This was one of those items I added to my cart and kept looking at and thinking about. I knew it was super cute and unique I just didn’t know how it would fit my short stature.
So, when it came in I was MORE than happy I had decided to order it! The color is rich and beautiful for the fall season. I ordered the green one, which is currently sold out except in size small I believe. Keep checking their app/site though because they keep restocking random sizes. This same jumpsuit also comes in a ivory color with blue accents and I am thinking of purchasing that one for Spring time. It would be super cute with a denim jacket layered over it as we begin to transition into the warmer months.
Jumpsuits are something I LOVE for many reasons! One being you can dress them up or you can dress them down. Being a mom of four, I am usually chasing a kid or I have one on my hip. So, I love something that can make me feel dressed up but, that doesn’t require a heel. I actually currently own ONE pair of heels, that’s how much I don’t wear them! So, I was so excited the length on this jumpsuit was perfect with a chic black mule. I cuffed the bottoms just to add some extra shape.
You don’t have to have a belt by any means but, I thought it added some extra flare and boho style to it. I threw my leather jacket on over my shoulders to show how perfect it would be for a night out on the town. Add a small clutch and you are set! The pattern and piece itself is so unique I didn’t want to take away from it with loud jewelry so, I just added a few of my favorite dainty pieces.
