NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE + $500 GIVEAWAY

I feel like we are getting ready to throw a big ol’ Super Bowl Party! I mean that’s kinda what the NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE is… right? Besides Black Friday & Cyber Monday, this is the SALE of ALL SELLS! Like you don’t want to miss it! It was this exact sale last year that would be the seed planted in my heart to really inspire me to pursue this whole “blogging thing” I remember seeing my favorite bloggers sharing this sell and all the amazing finds and so, I shopped it all! Like a lot! I even got a Nordstrom card last year just to shop it all early! (I’ll get into this below)

I don’t know about you girls but, I personally only go to TJ Maxx and Forever 21 when I know what I am going for. Otherwise, my mind shuts down and I am too overwhelmed. I end up leaving with NOTHING OR tons of new throw pillows any and every time I go into a place like that with no purpose in mind. So, my goal here is to help equip you for what is to come. Because this truly is a sale you don’t want to miss.

One of the best things about this sale is that the items are NEW items and a fraction of  the price! So, once the sale is over the prices will go up to full price. Shopping this sale last year some of the best purchases I made were a name brand leather jacket, a few pairs of shoes, jeans, and basic tops. I am proud to say, I still have them all! Everything I purchased too I have gotten a great amount of use of! Like this leather embroidered jacket pictured here! A year later people still try to find this jacket because it was such a hit! It came in white too and I missed the white, sadly! You’ll see me rocking it a bunch this fall! Here’s some tips and tricks as we gear up for the biggest sale!

• Apply HERE to get the Nordstrom Card that will allow you to shop the sale early! There is a Credit Card option and a Debit Card Option! I do not encourage or promote debt so, go with the Debit option if you know the Credit option will be too tempting and cause you to get “Swipe Happy” Don’t purchase anything you can’t afford to pay off right then!
• Nordstrom offers FREE SHIPPING + FREE RETURNS on ALL orders! Therefor, purchase each item as soon as you find it! I am not joking when I say, “Things WILL SELL OUT FAST” Like, I remember having numerous items in my cart last year and by the time I thought to check out, they were gone! So, now I know to just buy it once I find it since shipping is free!
• Check out the NORDSTROM CATALOG HERE this is just a sneak peek of a fraction of the items on sale! There’s much more!
• This sale was so great for me to shop for myself BUT, I found some really really great stuff for my kids too! Ricky hates fashion so, it’s not really somewhere I shop for him but, for me and the kids it was a WIN! Especially for BACK TO SCHOOL! I scored some AMAZING shoes for all of the kids!
• Get a game plan! Have in your mind what you are looking for! For me personally it’s always a good shoe, they’re just my thing! Then I love and will get great use out of good denim so, I always check that! Then I usually see what my favorite brands have marked down! Don’t worry I will be sharing and breaking this all down for you as the sale approaches. But, start checking your closet now and seeing what you may need for this fall.. boots, jackets, jeans, sweaters, etc? That’s the best part of this sale, it’s not just a bunch of old spring and summer things they couldn’t sell (there is some of that) it’s majority NEW ARRIVALS that you are getting at a steal!
• Know what sizes you need! Sounds silly but, Rush wasn’t even a year old last time this sale was here so, I didn’t know what size of jeans to buy! I ended up buying one of each size I thought I needed and sent the other back. It would have saved me time and money up front thought to just know beforehand.
• Have fun! LOL. Sounds silly but, don’t stress if ya miss something. Just take it as Jesus protecting your bank account!
